On 8-9 September 2014, the WP7 team, in collaboration with the Department of Economics and Statistics of University of Siena, organised the first Workshop on Financialisation and Sustainability. The presentations of the participants are available on this website.
The workshop also hosted the first “Goodwin lecture on sustainability”, the inaugural event of a series of annual lectures given by distinguished invited speakers on the main issues of sustainability. This year, Paul Ekins, Professor of Resources and Environmental Policy, and Director of the UCL Institute for Sustainable Resources, at University College London gave a lecture on “Policies for a green economy: making a reality of sustainable development”.
