FESSUD researcher Daniel Detzer gave a presentation on “Inequality and the Financial System: The case of Germany” at the conference “Poverty, Inequality and Economic Growth” in Islamabad, Pakistan.
While the results are mostly directly relevant for developed countries, many of them can also be useful in the context of developing countries. The participation therefore also aims at starting a dialogue with experts in the area of development and identifies lessons and results that can be fruitfully transferred to the context of development issues. The Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Islamabad supported the visit to facilitate the academic exchange between Germany and Pakistan.
