When and where?
14.00-18.00 Wednesday 26th February at Fairburn House Main Building Upper Chapel
What?
The University of Leeds has become one of Europe’s centres for researching the financial crisis. In 2011 LUBS launched FESSUD an EU funded multidisciplinary research project aiming to understand how finance can better serve economic, social and environmental needs. Since 2011 POLIS has chaired a network of over 300 social scientists from across Europe who have also investigated the causes and consequences of the crisis from a range of perspectives.
On Wednesday afternoon participants from the two networks will meet in Leeds to discuss their findings and explore the potential for future cooperation. Both events will take place in Fairburn House Upper Chapel. Both will be organised as conversations and will offer opportunities for questions from the floor.
