FESSUD researchers Malcolm Sawyer and Kenneth Hermele recently took part in conference sessions on ’The transformation of money and finance for sustainability’, where they presented the results of the FESSUD research respectively on “The Macroeconomics and Financial System Requirements for a Sustainable Future” and ‘‘Financialisation vs Sustainability: A Polanyian Moment?”. These sessions were part of the International Society of Ecological Economics’ bi-annual conference on “Well-being and Equity within Planetary Boundaries”, organised by the University of Iceland, in Reyjkavik, on 13th and 15th August 2014.
