Andrew Brown, co-leader of Work Packages 2 (Comparative Perspectives
on Financial Systems in the EU) and 12 (Synthesis), was rewarded the SAGE prize for Innovation and/or Excellence for his paper “Critical realism in social research: approach with caution”, in the journal Work Employment and Society.
The paper builds upon his FESSUD methodological research as developed in the FESSUD working paper, Methodological issues in theorising the financial, economic and social system: realistic and systematic abstraction, Working Paper Series No. 3, November 2013.
The prize includes a period of free access and promotion though the prestigious British Sociological Association and SAGE journals.
